The Morikaunui Incorporation was formed in 1955 when the land was released to the 2,500 owners from Government control. The Founding Chairman was Dr Rangitakuku Mete Kingi, CBE.



    Morikaunui Incorporation's farm, Morikau Station, has a productive farming area of 2,475 hectares. The Station's total area is 4,842 hectares and stretches from Huruharama (Jerusalem) to Ranana (London) on the Whanganui Awa..

Educations awards

The Education Awards application form is now accessible from the trust section of the website. Applications must be received by 31 March.

The consideration process should be back to normal, meaning the awards would be paid out during the first two weeks of May. This target is in the absence of another lockdown during the next three months.

The 2021 AGM: the provisional date is Thursday 18th of November.

With COVID19 far from under control, we have given up on trying for a Farm visit. (There is the additional problem of limited motel accommodation in Whanganui.)

We will have to make a decision about a physical meeting in mid-October otherwise it will have to be via ZOOM. We can't postpone because without a meeting there is no ability to approve a dividend!
